Mountain Biking in Traditional Spain

Mountain Biking video showing some footage of a Sunshine Breaks day out in Las Alpujarras, Granada, Spain.

The route starts at the Puerto de la Ragua, a 2000 metre pass and follows the high forest trails along the Sierra Nevada. This drops over 1100 metres (3,500 feet) finishing right at the front door of the Sunshine Breaks Mountain B&B Casa Escocia. Other extracts from the video are down through the Alpujarran villages of Nechite and Valor and down the lower trails towards Ugijar.

All shepherds, farmers, gardeners, donkeys, goats, sheep & dogs are local to Nechite and none were harmed during the making of this video!!

This is the Sierra Nevada and there’s as much technical riding as you want here. Come across and have a ride or two if your up for doing some of the stuff that doesn’t make the videos!
